United Kingdom: AI-content disclosure status
United Kingdom has no binding AI-content-disclosure law today. Publishers adopt the standard as voluntary best practice and to get ahead of regulation.

The UK has no statutory AI-content-labelling or transparency-disclosure duty; it relies on existing sectoral regulators and adjacent measures (e.g. the Online Safety Act, and a non-consensual intimate deepfake offence). Adopt as voluntary best practice.
How to comply with AIDisclose
Publish an ai-disclosure.json manifest declaring the AI systems your site uses, add the on-site snippet to render the required notices and labels in 28 languages, and keep timestamped, exportable evidence that they were shown. Start with a free check of your site.
