United States (federal) has no binding AI-content-disclosure law today. Publishers adopt the standard as voluntary best practice and to get ahead of regulation.

There is no enacted federal AI-content-disclosure law. AI disclosure in the US is governed by state laws (e.g. California SB 942, Texas TRAIGA). Adopt the AIDisclose standard as best practice and to prepare for state obligations.
How to comply with AIDisclose
Publish an ai-disclosure.json manifest declaring the AI systems your site uses, add the on-site snippet to render the required notices and labels in 28 languages, and keep timestamped, exportable evidence that they were shown. Start with a free check of your site.
